I know your works; you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold of hot. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. Before Christ, we are all extremely lost, desperately wicked, and completely sinful.

Through Christ, we are extremely rich, completely righteous, and fully accepted by God. We are called to live in extreme love for God and others, extreme submission to God, and extreme devotion.

Nicaragua is a land of extremes.

Extreme heat. This is the lava in the volcano Masaya. Visitors have to back into the parking spots just in case.

Extreme religion and superstition. The Catholic church and witchcraft are one and the same in Nicaragua.

Extreme poverty. Many kids get pulled out of school to work to support the families. As a result, they are stuck working in fields for the rest of their lives. Literacy is low in the villages.
