God is faithful.

That’s been a theme in my life these past few months. For those of you that don’t know, I’ve felt God leading me towards using photography and videography to help tell the stories of what God is doing all around the world. Through Google, He lead me to Storytellers Abroad. It’s a mission’s trip/workshop with ABWE (Association of Baptists for Worldwide Evangelism) to train people to use photography and videography in missions. Late last year, I prayerfully applied to go and was accepted. I began the process of communicating God’s leading in my life and support raising. It felt vulnerable and scary at first to share this change of direction in my life with others (and here I am blogging about it). I did’t and don’t have answers to questions, and I had very little idea of what all this trip entailed. Gently, God encouraged and reassured me right away through a big smile and hug from a dear lady at church who was so excited to hear that God was leading me in this direction. As the support raising process continued, any time I was tempted to start worrying about the cost, God would prompt someone to let me know that same day that they were going to give towards the trip. Now, I leave in a few short days fully supported and feeling very blessed!

Where God leads, He is faithful to provide and walk with me along the way.
