About Me
Hi! I’m Allison.
Jesus-follower. Photographer. Equestrian. Sister. Daughter. Ice cream lover. Travel enthusiast.
Once upon a time, my parents gave me a camera as a gift. I was hooked. I started by following my dad around and taking whatever shot he was taking or whatever angle he suggested. I graduated to my first DSLR in college about 10 years ago. Since then, God has been increasing my passion for photography and giving me opportunities to learn and grow as a photographer. He has led me to pursue using it in missions. I’m excited for this adventure, and I’ll be sharing moments on this blog along the way!
In response to God’s leading, I’ve joined ABWE as a short-term missionary. I’ll be travelling around Peru, Chile, and Colombia to tell stories of what God is doing in those countries and how you can get involved. To find out how you can be a part of my ministry, please visit this page.

About Media Ministry
What is the power of a photograph or a video? What role does media have in missions? I’m glad you asked! 🙂
Media ministry involves the use of photography and videos to support other ministries. Its purpose and use can by summarized by ABWE’s tagline:
![]()
1. Media can help missionaries SHARE what God is doing in an effective and engaging way. This helps to encourage churches and supporters as well as validates their ministries.
2. Media can encourage and challenge believers to BUILD their relationship with God, God’s Kingdom, and His Church.
3. Media can challenge and inspire people to SERVE by either supporting ministries or becoming a missionary
