They actually care about us; you can see it in their eyes. You can talk to them about what is going on in your life.
Those were some of the answers we got from people as we asked them what made the Americans different. It wasn’t how they dressed, how they spoke, other cultural differences, or even what they believed that they noticed. It was how they love and care for the people around them.
People don’t see our faith; they see it being worked out through how we love them. That is what should make us different. We can then point people to the One who loved us so perfectly and who enables us to love others excellently.
… what matters is faith working through love. Galations 5:6b
